On exhibition from October 31 through November 29, 2008 presents selected works by two master painter/drawers at what may be the peak of their prowess. Inaugural gallery artist Alan Larkin offers up prime paintings and drawings that demonstrate his finesse and mastery with both pastel and oil. From small to large format, with minimal to maximal content the full force of his abilities is amply demonstrated.

Special guest artist Maurice Papier, of Fort Wayne, Indiana presents us with images that show off the skills of this masterful and thoughtful imagist. The handwork in Mr. Papier’s images speaks to a level of skill that is rarely seen in today’s all too prevalent “slap-dash-commodity-culture-crapola-images.” The conversations that these works generate speak to a quiet quality while offering multiple narratives that unfold over time.

Both artists are scheduled to be in attendance at the Opening Reception.
